1.0. Who we are

This page represents The Battle of Narvik

2.0. What personal information is collected and why we collect this

VWe process anonymised statistics in order to improve our websites, and customer information in order to offer services to our customers.

2.1. Contact forms

If you use a contact form on our websites, the information you provide is sent in a mail format. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, etc. This information is used so that we can answer your enquiries and/or offer one or more services.

2.2. Information capsules

Information capsules (also known as cookies) are small text files that are saved on your device. These are used to analyse user patterns, as well as to remember choices you make on our websites. For example, an anonymous information capsule is saved when you accept these terms, so that you are not required to accept them several times. This information capsule is valid for 12 months. If you have an account and log on to this website, we will set up a temporary information capsule in order to decide whether the browser you use supports the use of this. This information capsule does not include any personal information and it disappears as soon as you close your browser. When you log on, information capsules are set up that save your logon information and choice you have made as regards how content is to be shown. Information capsules with logon information expire after two days, whilst the viewing choices remain for one year. If you log out of your account, these information capsules will disappear.

2.2.1 Change settings for information capsules

It is possible to turn off cookies in your browser. However note that many websites will then not work. You will not be able to shop in internet shops, or logon to social media such as Facebook and Twitter. You can read more about how you change your information capsule settings on your browser’s own pages. Information capsules can be deleted from the settings in your browser. If you do not change the settings to not to allow information capsules, they will be set up again next time you to to a website that allows this.

2.3. Built-in content from other websites

Articles on this site can include built-in content (e.g., videos, pictures, articles, etc.). Built-in content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the website that the built-in content comes from. These websites can gather information on you, use information capsules, or build in tracking systems from a third party and monitor what you do via this built-in content. This also includes tracking your actions via the built-in content if you have an account and are logged on to the website.

2.4. Analysis

We use Google Analytics on our websites. This is a very common analysis tool used to analyse user behaviour on a website. Google Analytics is a service from Google that makes it possible to see the number of visitors, page viewings, traffic sources, length of visit, geographical location, and lots more. This is information that we gather in order to make our websites better and easier to use.

3.0. Who do we share your information with?

Your personal identifiable information will never be shared with a third party without your consent. Anonymous information can be used for analysis purposes.

4.0. How long do we keep information on you

Anonymous analysis data is saved indefinitely in order to see trends and development of behaviour. Personal identifiable information is only saved for as long as necessary in order to provide the services we offer. For users that register on this website (if this possibility exists), personal information provided is also saved in your user profile. All users can see, edit, and delete their own personal information at any time (apart from your user name). The website’s administrators can also see and edit this information.
